By my reckoning, three days after Tuesday, Sept 11, 2001, 8:50 am...... are already up.

Where are the tomahawks and the Air-fuel bombs? The latter work great against caves...

And what if they DO hand him over!!??? This is not - it better not - be over! Putting this piece of excrement on trial would be a travesty. This is not a law enforcement issue anymore - it is war. If they hand Bin Laden over, we should shoot him on the spot and then being the attack against his followers and everyone else involved.

The simplest and quickest way to stop these people is to either kill one of them in Afganastan or turn over a body of someone to them from here. If we go the body route, tell them that it is the body of one of their marters.

The head ragheads will want to make hay out of that dead body. There will be a gathering of anti-American hatered the likes of which the world has never seen. At that point you simply drop a daisy cutter dead center of the gathering. 90% of the problem will be over in a flash.

There will never be another gathering again in that part of the world. If by chance there should be, simply repeat. They will get the point eventually.

It is obvious, at least to me, that the Taliban is going to protect Bin Laden and therefore won't turn him over to the US. If that happens, we will have NO CHOICE but to destroy the Taliban as we move to kill or capture Bin Laden. Remember, you are dealing with fanatics here that WILL NOT listen to reason. They hide behind and twist Islamic teaching to condone these acts of terror. The ONLY question in my mind is whether Russia and China will stay out of this once we take action to get Bin Laden.

Very interesting. But the internal problems need to addressed too. Right now, the US is the equivalent of a cancer patient who smokes. Maybe you do want to shut down the externalities like the cigarette factory or the tobacco store. But you also have to nail the cancer cells. There was lots of odd behavior to set these people apart.

It's also interesting that it's apparently easier for someone from a Middle Eastern country to get a visa to go to flight school than it is for someone from England, where they had to jump through all kinds of hoops, show they had a home mortgage in England to prove they were going back home (English people are really undesirable compared to what we do let in???). Immigration and visa policy is way nuts here, folks. The barn door's been open too long but it should still be adjusted.

If the Afghans handed over bin Laden gift-wrapped tomorrow, it wouldn't change a thing. We are going after ALL supporters and collaborators. Libya, Iran, Iraq, and a whole lot of other countries that have been looking the other way at terrorism have good reason to be scared. That goes for Arafart, too. That cracked old man has been riding high for too long.
