NY FReepers who DISAPPEARED on-line the moment of the tragedy

By searching the homepages of all NY FReepers, and clicking on the "Find In Forum" link, I have identified four FReepers who:
1] Were active posters (not dormant users);
2] Posting up until the tragedy;
2] Then suddenly stopped posting on FR.
I've listed the most alarming one first:
thefactor: Posted twice at 10:07 a.m. and 10:20 a.m. on Tuesday, watching in horror as "the tower" went down, describing chaos, and asking for prayer. See this thread: Plane Crashes into World Trade Center. Read his posts #112 and #119 VERY CAREFULLY and tell me whether you too think this sounds like an EYEWITNESS in the SECOND TOWER. We should check the timeline of events that day: What time did the first and second towers collapse? This FReeper also lives in NYC, according to previous posts. Young male.
The next three -- sorry, two -- stanz is accounted for -- are slightly less alarming, but still warrant our concern, as they were active posters. You and I know how addictive this place is. Why would someone be an active poster -- in NYC -- and then stop posting after one of the worst tragedies in history?
Attillathehon: posted from the middle of Manhattan at 9:51 AM Eastern on Tuesday; nothing since.
PBRSTREETGANG: a very frequent poster who last posted at 8:41 a.m. Eastern Tuesday, Sept. 11, and NOTHING since. Had posted the day before, then again moments before the initial strike of the North Tower.
NOTE: These are all active FReepers, not people who haven't posted in months.
Do you know these FReepers?

She should tell her story about how long it took to get home. I hope she will post her story. If she does, please have her flag me.
We have a nephew who is a firefighter from south brooklyn, early on the scene HE is the ONLY surviving member of his station house that day.
Oh my God! God bless him. What a story he must have. How did he survive?

re: stanz
Check the NY locale page; there is a message that stanz has no access to e-mail but that he/she called a friend who FReepmailed someone with the message that they're okay.

Good work everyone!

Not NY, but my brother and cousin both had meetings (one Navy, one Army) scheduled that morning in the Pentagon....and both meetings were postponed on Monday until Tuesday afternoon.
My boss had an arch./building design review meeting in the rooms of the newly rebuilt suite/section of the Pentagon that was hit just a few days before the crash, and he was caught in Dallas by the plane shutdown.
Too close for comfort.
And a co-worker here worked in those floors hit....It's sobering to hear him describe the elevations and stairs that would have been destroyed.

The second tower collapsed first remember.......so if "thefactor" was in one of the towers they must have been in the first tower not the second right?
Is it possible that "thefactor" was posting from an office nearby? Could he/she live in the area and not be allowed back because of the rescue process?
To: thingumbob
thefactor is accounted for -- all is okay.
GOOD NEWS! All three FReepers in question on this thread have been accounted for!

I know of very, very few people actually evacuated from NYC...My son lives a couple of blocks from the Empire State Building. He bailed out after the first tower collapsed and they announced another plane still in the air. It is reasonable to assume, under those circumstances that the terrorists were after the symbolic tall buildings in NYC, and still had some ammunition.

Words can't really say what I am feeling right now. The fact that this thread has been established is utterly amazing to me. I feel more emotion right now than I have all of the past week and that is saying a lot. The fact that FReepers I may never meet care enough about someone they don't know enough to post this makes me speechless. Thank you all for your concern. I work in midtown and watched the drama unfold and only left the TV to update FR and to find out any new news from you folks. In the following days, I had trouble getting to a computer for any length of time and get a good connection.
I do live very close to the WTC and haven't been able to go home yet. I was in the WTC subway stop when this all happened and just made it through. I want to thank each and every one of you for caring about someone you don't know. You people are truly good and decent. I really have no words for these feelings.

Upon reading my own post I see I was a bit ambiguous. I was in the subway when the actual planes hit. I heard about it when I got out of the subway and then immediately began watching the tv and was able to then get on FR and post. Thanks again.

You're damn right....One freeper is enough.
BKO's words here may be silenced, but her book will live on....
To: thefactor
I'm so glad you're all right!

I returned from down there earlier this afternoon. We were given some time to clear out our offices. What I saw was really awful.
