How do you store sugar for a long period of time without it getting hard as a rock?

1. Be sure the seal is tight. Moisture causes the sugar to harden.

2. Pack a hammer. ;)

Hard sugar is better than no sugar. Add a little water and make syrup...use it that way.

If they can put coffee in air-proof containters, why can't they do the same for sugar?
