Are we already being lulled into complacency? No pictures have been aired of the two murdered hostesses or of any bodies. It is much too sanitized. It takes much of the horror away and turns our attention to the same news and Osama bin Laden. He is not "it". He may be the leader but there are others here in the U S now.

We are speculating on a war and thinking it is going to be fought in the middle east. It may be right here this week or the next.

We are returning to ordinary routines and forgeting the imminent danger.

This a mistake to think this way.
