Can God love us, and yet still visit vengeance upon us? What did Jesus mean when he said:

Matthew 23

37
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
38
Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
39
For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

And this:

Mark 13

Jesus Foretells the Future

1As Jesus was leaving the Temple that day, one of his disciples said, "Teacher, look at these tremendous buildings! Look at the massive stones in the walls!"
2Jesus replied, "These magnificent buildings will be so completely demolished that not one stone will be left on top of another."

Here is the answer. Jesus loved Jerusalem, but even He could not save Her unless the inhabitants saw Him as the Messiah.

I do think Jesus loves America, but we need to ensure He is our Savior also.

Do I think Tuesday was Revelation 18? No, not yet. It will be MUCH worse!

Of course it will be much worse. The bible does not lie. It says that Babylon will be plagued, suffer from famine, and be utterly burned, all in the same day.

Obviously, this did not happen. Unfortuntely, some people want it to happen so badly that they overlook these simple points.
