Good read.

Why does everyone keep bringing up the Serbs? No one cares about the Serbs. There are 10.000 dead Americans, and there is no excuse for there deaths.

A Reagan bump for you
In much of the commentary, analysis etc on the tube the last couple of days, there is an obvious and growing disparagement of xlinton, his actions, his policies, his stupid and cowardly, calamitious stewardship of the Oval Office. People are making the connections, understanding that his 8 years of doing the voh-dee-oh-doh on the Presidential seal have exposed our soft underbelly to the Beast.
As a little more time goes on, only Hollywood, NAMBLA, NOW and Larry Flynt will wanna be hangin' with Bubba. He will be shunned as the pariah who enabled terror and murder on American soil. The contrast with his enfeebled response to the bad guys standing next to Dubya's BOLD ASSKICKING will be tremendous and xlinton's OJ-ification become complete.

The contrast with his enfeebled response to the bad guys standing next to Dubya's BOLD ASSKICKING ... I must have missed something; when did this happen?

"Let's get away from such trite nonsense from the Slobodon/communist crowd on this forum who are using this tragedy to undermine US policy in the Balkans. The Serbs are under democratic leadership now, and the last thing they need is more nonsense about historical wrongs. During NATO's bombing, Serbia's greatest supporters were the Iraqis, Libyans and the Palestinians, all of the animals that would thwart our efforts to bring stability to the globe." Point taken. I will defer to your knowledge on this subject.

Does this have anything to do with the killing of thousands of American in the terrorist bombing of the World Trade Center with one of our own jet-fuel laden airliners? It does. Guess who helped train the Kosovo Liberation Army, the Afghan Mujahadeen -- a group that had been a known terrorist organization for years by governments throughout the world, including the U.S. State Department? It is as disgusting trying to blame Clinton for this recent disaster as it is trying to undermine Bush's handling of the tragedy.
Especially when those attempts to blame Clinton are based on such thin lies.
Forget Bosnia and the KLA. If you want to associate Bin Laden with an American president, then give credit where it's due.
Bin Laden was originally singled out, trained, promoted, supplied, protected and coddled -- not by the Clinton administration -- but by the Reagan one.
So if Clinton is ten percent responsible for what happened, then Reagan is 100 percent responsible.
Unless, of course, one is a hypocrite.

I like the terminology in this article. It states that during the 1980's the CIA funded bin Laden which helped bin Laden build his headquarters. There is no mention of Reagan involvement. However, when the CIA dealt with bin Laden in the 1990's it is specified that Clinton himself made all the decisions. The article also fails to mention that George W. Bush gave the Taliban $47,000,000 as recently as April of 2001. However, I guess the direct Reagan and Bush involvement with bin Laden and the Taliban was simply edited out so that article would be 'fair and balanced' just like all the other conservative media.

I believe we have a very different kind of leader in George W. Bush. He has chosen a suburb group of people to assist him. Colin Powell, and others in his cabinet are some of the best people in America. How about the $47,000,000 the Bush Administration gave to the Taliban in April? Was that I great decision made by our President? It was simply a decision that was a misguided and Clinton, Bush Sr. and Reagan when they funded these monsters. They all have American Blood on their hands!

Clinton was responsible for the maintenance of American internal security for the previous eight years. The fact that fighters could not be scrambled fast enough to stop this is evidence of the sorry state in which he left the military. Our borders are porous, allowing Mid Eastern terrorist cells to set up shop in our own country, and some of them were the perpetrators of this act. Most were illegal aliens, meaning that Clinton, in charge for eight years, has ruined immigration law enforcement in this country. Clinton had an opportunity to eliminate bin Laden in 2000, but refused.
The bin Laden adventure started under Reagan, but bin Laden wasn't attacking the United States back then. He was our ally. Somehow, in intervening years, that changed. It would be interesting if someone would find out what happened to change that relationship. However, the fact is that Clinton ran internal security and foreign policy for the EIGHT YEARS previous to this disaster. Bush has only been in office since January of this year, and has to play "catch up" in the hollowing out of the military and the internal security system of this country. If Clinton had paid more attention to his primary duty of protecting the United States, rather than playing NATIONAL SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT, a jurisdiction not given the President in the Constitution, this would not have happened. The fact that Bush received the news while visiting an elementary school only goes to show how far Clintonism and Soccer Momism went in transforming the primary duty of a President from PROTECTING the people, including the children, of the United States, to being their National School Superintendent. Maybe Bush is waking up that Clinton got it wrong and policies dedicated only to freeing up personal time for Soccermoms and unwed mothers is the path to destruction for America.

If Bush gave this maniac $47 million, just five months before this attack, calling it the height of stupidity would be charitable. The fact is, all we have been getting for Presidents for some time now are mediocrities or worse.
To: Axion
There are others who have sided with Bin Laden. Those who view the government as the primary enemy. They are found here on FR.
