Barbara Lee just became the only dissinting voter in the USE OF FORCE RESOLUTION in the House....Senate passed 98-0, House passed with only ONE (1) "No" Vote....time to recall this traitor!
This is reminisant of the only NO VOTE from the 8 DEC 1941 Declaration of War vote.
So is Barbara Lee now saying that the Oakland/Berkley, CA are is against our national survival and self defense?

Here is the text of the fax I sent:
I am absolutely outraged and sickened at your no vote on HR 64 this evening. Words cannot express the disgust I have for people who betray this country as you have done this day.
I respectfully request that you relocate to another country, as you are now a traitor in the United States.

Way back to 20:
which one is Lee ?
which one was Clinton married to"
Oh lord, I just can't keep these things straight anymore.
To be honest, this is sort of a comfort - I wasn't to ******* happy with anyone from or at Berkley back in '68 either.

The Muslims are mostly concentrated in a few areas. Also, while Michigan has a very large Arab population, most of them are CHRISTIANS.
The two biggest pro-Arab politicians in the state are David Bonior(who I believe was a veteran) and John Dingell(DEARBORN). Bonior is running for statewide office and was in a swing district anyway. I don't know how Arab his district was, but I'm sure there are some there simply since Metro Detroit has a large Arab population. Bonior can't be seen as against the troops in a state like Michigan though.
Dingell represents probably the most Arab district in the Country. South Wayne county and the Dearborn area. I can't see him going against the troops though here.
Stabenow will have a tough re-election in 2006. She probably won't turn on us here.
I hope Carl Levin being Jewish influences him here since he sure is no friend of the Military. I doubt it though. He also voted against Persian Gulf, so that says where he stands.

Let's fill up her fax machine now...(202) 225-9817 You know, one night I heard Michael Reagan telling his listeners to send BLACKED OUT faxes to some democrap who'd insulted his dad or Nancy (can't recall which).
He said to just use a Marks A Lot and black out the entire page. Eats up tons of ink on the incoming side....
Isn't that a terrible thing to tell people to do??

Unfortunately it's just someone else's tax money that's getting eaten.

Based on:
House Vote
Ballenger R
King (NY) R
Saxton R
Conyers D
Lipinski D
Wilson R
Farr D
Petri R
Kilpatrick D
Sanchez D
Ten people not voting is not very unusual, except maybe on an issue of this magnitude. Each party had 5 not voting.
Senate Vote The two senators who did not vote are Helms and Craig, both Republicans, SC, and ID, respectively.
2/100 would about the same as 8 or 9 of the 431 House members, so the ratio is similar.

King may have been up in N.Y. tending to his constituents.
To: Humidston
Horrible. I can't imagine the kind of people who would do such a thing...

Gee guys, my little old post gave no logistics at all and is nothing compared to what was just posted in Breaking News: "Attack could come this weekend".
But I do stand corrected and will adhere to better judgement in the future.

It's not the quantity of people not voting that bugs me, it's their identities.
I wonder if they'll ever be asked to explain themselves.

Last year I heard this Barbara Lee is a member of the communist party. I guess that is why she could care less about Americans.
GRRRRRRRRRRRR ! What a horrible evil person she is.

The really sick thing is that for most of two years, Red Ron was chairman of the House Armed Services commitee. No wonder that the military got sliced and diced in Congress. "I loathe the military" der Sinkmeister had a bit to do with that too. Red Ron would surely have voted NO also, so Ms. Lee was just following in her mentor's footsteps.

Yeah, you're right. 'Course it also has a tendency to keep people from receiving other more important stuff...
I'd probably even call that a good use of my tax dollars. ;-)

The only Congresscritter to vote against the declaration of war on Japan on 12/8/41 was Rep. Jeanette Rankin. Yes, I realize I'm about the fifth person to point this out. However, her reason for voting this way has not been pointed out on this thread.
Rep. Rankin believed that there were still a few people in this country who didn't want to go to war, and her vote was a symbolic representation of their voices. And I have to say that I can respect that, and understand that. But I don't have to agree with that. And I'll be the first to pass the hat when a GOP candidate runs against Rep. Barbara Lee next year. Her career is over.

Is she the Democrat who said that when we go "back to Mars" we should try to find the American flag?
To: Snow Bunny
Indeed. What an evil person. Hopefully she'll soon be a former Member of Congress.
To: StopDemocratsDotCom
She's fat. Hey, people, don't you know the proper use of the asterisk? It's b*tch, sh*t head, wh*re, etc..
To: Bryan
Well, her vote was far out of proporation to the number of Americans who actually did still oppose the war.
Even Lindbergh and his ilk shut their traps and supported WWII once 12-7-41 came.
To: StoneColdGOP
I'm glad you guys are ripping her a new one. This is probably the biggest vote of these people's lives, and although I do understand someone from NY/DC not being there, the others have some explaining to do.
Kind of makes you wonder. Here we are discussing Rankin's 1941 vote. Maybe Barbara Lee just wants the publicity and her name to be remembered 60 years from now? Just like a panty-waste liberal to put their own self worth above the needs of the nation.
What a pinko.
