In order for a conspiracy to make sense, Roosevelt would have had to know ahead of time that the attack would cause the American people to rally behind the war effort............ He also would have had to know ahead of time that we would (almost miraculously) win the Battle of Midway.

You might want to give Oscar Meyer a call about purchasing that tonnage of bologna.

Tell me how I am wrong. Do you believe that it was known for certain ahead of time that the American people would rally behind the war effort? Do you believe that our crippled navy's ability to turn the tide against the Japanese at the Battle of Midway was a foregone conclusion?
