Thank you for posting this. It is a fresh breath of reason in an insane place. There has been enough hyperbolic threats put on these pages the last few days to last a lifetime. It is VERY likely that communists are using Islam the way they did labor unions, except this has the possibility of exploding to a huge war [WW III?]. Imagine the crusades with nukes.
I fear greatly that this could lead to millions of dead and injured and make WW II look tame. We need to keep our eyes on who is behind the scene making the violence happen.

I have a question. Lots of posters say that there are "good" moslems. That islam is not a violent religion, and does not condone terrorism.

We know that moslems can declare a "Fatwa". Bin Laden and Arafat have promulgated and used terror, and killed innocent men, women, and children. If in fact their religion rejects such acts, when will a fatwa be declared against these vermin? Surely, their actions besmirch Islam to a far greater extent than did the novelist Salman Rushdie - who was rewarded with a death sentence in a fatwa.

Unless, of course, Islam doesn't really object to murderous terrorists....

Perhaps America has finally learned to lie and make false promises for the short term - and strike at all enemies in the long term....

The war to end radical terrorism will take years if not decades or centuries, if we survive long enough.

Americans must forget constantly seeking instant gratification....some things take time. This is one.

Thanks for the flag- there always have been some connections between Islam and communism/Marxism. The two are not as incompatible as some may think.
