This is the thread. Most disheartening. I realize that things are said in the heat of the moment, and this has certainly been a heated week, but someone else needs to replace LK, IMHO. Few people will take him, or any case he pursues seriously from now on. Marty Meehan and Peter Jennings have joined this number. Today both Russert and Matthews praised our President's leadership, so miracles can happen.
Jeff, I expect to buy your book someday. Tuesday did more damage to the un-Americans on the left than any high-profile lawsuit could do. Did you see Clinton posing for the cameras and blocking the crowd after the church service today? Gore's icy look at our classy President who reached out to shake Gore's hand? Yes, this has been a tough week on all of us - the whole country.
But, what will prevail - is our United States.
