RightOnline is correct.

The Muslims, Jews and Christians share the same past and mostly up to Jesus they had the same prophets, same biblical information, same beliefs as we do.

They believe that Jesus was a great prophet but like the Jews they don't believe that Jesus was the Son of G*d.

Right there is where Christian, Jewish and Muslim religions branch off.

Where we are also different from them, we are not a Semetic people while both Jews and Arabs are. They are actually brothers.

From what I read in the Koran, their religion is one of peace and harmony. This dark evil stuff that some of them do in the name of Islam is not really Islam but a twisted b*st**d religion/excuse for money/power branching off from Islam.

Not that they are the only ones..just about all religions have had similar branches at one time or another where false prophets have convinced enough of their followers to do evil in the name of the twisted, self serving teachings of their religions, to give their false prophets (even insane prophets) money and power.

I know war is brutal, and that it kills those who don't deserve to die. But our target should be those responsible for the destruction. People unrelated to the massacre in NY and DC will die, that's true. But we have to be very very careful about painting all Muslims as "The Enemy." And I think we need to target our wrath with as much precision as possible.

I'm not accusing you of this, but the level of anti-Muslim hatred I'm seeing on this board and others is disturbing. Hell, I've seen calls on this board (deleted, thankfully) for Americans to take revenge on American muslims.

And again, take a good look at this photo. Not all Muslims, even Palestinians, hate us.

Kill 100 who??!! Killing indiscriminate Arabs because this woman is happy makes as much sense as bombing an elementary school because this woman is happy. Kill the terrorists. Attack the military and political hubs of the countries who support them. Don't expressly slaughter and target civilians.

TALIBAN ANTICIPATING MASSIVE U.S. ATTACK; VOWS REVENGE

They can try, if any of them are still alive. At some point they're going to run out of warm bodies.

There are actually people STUPID enough to celebrate this disaster here in the US????

They have no reason to fear. The doves have emasculated this nation to a point where we will take it and run home with our tails between our legs.

Think I'm wrong? Read the dozens of examples of Muslims openly celebrating in this country, without ONE SINGLE RESPONSE from the kittenish Americans.

Agreed. Americans are Americans, no matter from whence they hail.

And to the pigs who dance and celebrate our beloved murdered family members? Do you wish us to bow our heads to them as well? Shall we invite them over to dinner so they can spit on our memorials, our flags, and our graves, too?

What in the Sam Hill are you going on about? Have you actually read this thread???? TRY that, next time. It helps.

>Kill 100 who??!!

Who did we target in Hiroshima and Nagasaki to end the war with Japan? Did we specifically look for Hirohito or did we end the war? Do you know what war is? War is what THEY did to US.

Yes. That was an act of war. It was a war crime. It does NOT mean we have to respond in kind with the same sort of barbarism. Target the leaders. Target the army. Target the political infrastructure of the countries who back terrorism.

What would you have us do? Become like our enemy? Drop a nuke on cities full of women and children?

In any war, civilians will die. That doesn't mean we should target civilians.

I did. It's in response to post #85, where we were asked to be kind to all Muslim-Americans. How about reacting to people according to their deeds, (like dancing on the graves of NY and DC), and not their group identity? Or have we forgotten what America is about, and that the group-think mentality is also evil?

I will NOT defer to Muslims who celebrate our mourning, no matter what dovish, cowardly, liberal tripe they spew.

I expect better of you, RO. You're usually rather well-reasoned.

Yes. I would have us win the war against those who declared war upon us by bombing our innocent citizenry. Thank God it isn't up to you to defend anything.

Teach, I can assure you that a closer read above will show anything but the sentiments you ascribe to me. Now, let's use some common sense here and stop jumping the gun, ok? Did I in any way infer that we should let Muslims living in America dance in the streets with joy over the deaths in NY or Washington? Did I give even a hint that we should cower inside while they parade down our avenues in celebration over these cowardly attacks? You know better.

What I said, take at face value. Americans are Americans. To attack someone of Middle Eastern heritage (or of the Muslim faith) who lives in our country JUST because of that heritage or faith is idiocy. Many are American citizens; hell, a LOT are American citizens.........and they're as pi**ed off about this attack on OUR country........now THEIR country.........as you and I are. They aren't the "target" here.

Now...........IF someone of such "heritage" was stupid enough to run around gleefully, shooting a firearm in the air, whistling, shouting, laughing, etc. over what happened, then I don't care WHO the hell they are or if they're 6' 4" and Aryan: they're going to get an ass kickin'.

Does that explain it better?

And thank God you aren't in charge either. Here's hoping Bush will destroy these terrorists and those who suport them ... and that he'll work to minimize the deaths of innocents.

Anyone who cries for the carpet bombing of nations or indiscriminate destruction of civilian targets is no more virtuous than those who support the 18 monsters who killed more than 5,000 Americans.

I have been stating for years on these threads about the middle east "Coming soon....a Jihad near you". The arab apologists would say that Jihad was merely a "personal religious struggle".

We, as a nation, have now seen the "man behind the curtain"....Jihad is the Face of Death. As thousands of my fellow Americans have just learned in the most horrible way imaginable. Each parent that died left children that will never forget. If their intent was to show us their hate, they succeeded. They also succeeded in sowing a hatred for them that will never die. They were celebrating their own demise when they danced in the streets.

Much. Thank you. Now why exactly weren't those sentiments posted in many of the others' posts above? Most simply state, "Don't attack American Muslims"... no matter what they did, they do, or they promise to do.

THAT'S what gets me so riled up, especially after leaving those threads describing the celebrations in Houston college classes, Dearborn schools, Long Island communities, California campuses, etc... where NOT A SINGLE ONE of them got the ass-kickin' they so richly deserved, and worked so hard to earn.
