These media idiots are the enemy's fifth column. It would be foolish to strike out, while they are poisoning us from within. Start with the enemies at home.

I remember watching these events unfold on Tuesday morning and hearing various news media "reporters" making snide remarks about President Bush's whereabouts.

It occurred to me then that these ignorant dimwits (a), will use any opportunity, including an unconscionable attack on the United States to trash Bush and (b), have absolutely no idea about the enormous security precautions that go into effect in a situation like this.

Of course, if the rapist were still President, we would've heard how "Mr. Clinton's whereabouts are under tight security so he can provide leadership during this national tragedy..."

I actually hope the media continue their Bush bashing. It exposes them for the mean-spirited, frauds that they are. Bush's turn-the-other-cheek philosophy is nerve-racking at times, but Bush has patience of steel. He knows that in the long run, Americans will grow tired of the media beating up on this kind, gentle man, who never speaks ill of those who attack him day after day in the written and spoken word. Hollywood and the "mainstream" media will be losers in the end. Of course, those of us in the know, already knew that the elite establishment consists of a bunch of losers. Now the rest of America will join us in that knowledge.

It's times like these that people are revealed for what they really and truly are!

It is of no surprise to me at all that these people say these types of things...its what they BELIEVE!

Barbara Streisand!! I watched and heard Rather make the comment about whether you like him or not, he's our President. Out of context!? Get real. How can that comment be taken out of context? A reporter with an ounce of character wouldn't say anything NEAR such a thing! They are getting their jabs in at every turn, and it is totally bogus, not to mention the news conference this morning where they asked question after question that challenged Bush's decision to operate from Air Force One until they could get a grip on what was happening.

In this morning's Boston Globe the letters to the editor that blamed the US for this tragerdy were front and center. One writer actually suggested we apologize to the world for all of the crimes we have committed. Another wrote that we "reap what we sow". Would love to have a one-on-one with one of these slugs. I also heard Jennings say he doubted that Bush could pull together a coaliton.Hey, Peter head back to Canada!

All Right you pompous media elites.

Here's a challenge for you.

PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH is coming to New York tomorrow. You know the place, it's where they have been chasing terrorist suspects and bomb scares for the past several days.

WHY DON'T YOU: MESSRS Rather, Brokaw and Jennings...walk right with him.

Mr. Rather, you walked with the newly elected President Clinton interviewing him in Missouri during the floods. You remember, you had a co-anchor then; Connie Chung. When the to-be-impeached-for-lying President wished you the best of luck with the new co-anchor scheme, you replied, "Well, if we are half as successful as you and the First Lady, we will be doing just fine." But you weren't in any danger then were you? Well, let's see how brave you are...Walk with President Bush tomorrow.

Mr. Brokaw, you wrote a very fine book about a brave generation. You no doubt did quite a bit of research on bravery and sacrifice. But there doesn't seem to be any mention of your name associated with these virtues in any shape, form or fashion...anywhere. Now let's see how brave you are...Walk with President Bush tomorrow.

Mr. Jennings, you were in Sarajevo several years ago viewing the ruins and carnage first hand. You walked around Sarajevo in a bullet-proof vest while the 10 year old boy serving as your tour guide was clad only in a T-shirt. While we didn't get to see how you got from one place to another, we could only guess if you were wearing a bullet-proof vest for your on-screen appearances, you must have been transported around the city in something similar to the Pope-Mobile.

You especially have been critical of our President's actions and courage. Let's see how courageous you are now...Walk with President Bush tomorrow wearing the same type of attire that the President will be wearing.

Your suggestion that Rather, Jennings, and Brokaw walk with Bush tomorrow raises a good point about their double standard.

However, I suggest that Bush shouldn't associate with such losers. Let him walk with some class people, Brit Hume, Tony Snow, etc.

Besides, Rather, Jennings, and Brokaw can't go to the scene. Too much dust. It sticks to slime.

Yes, and we keep watching them.

If we boycott the stations and their ADVERTISERS, we will prevail.

But, Americans, including conservatives are: too addicted to television, continue to buy the NY Times, and are too busy to WRITE LETTERS to television stations and their advertisers, so everything will remain the same: the left-wing press will prevail and continue to brainwash Americans.
