What a frightening statement. This logic would have allowed McVeigh to escape while targeting people who have a different religion from Ms Coulter.

I believe you are misreading her sentence (which is admittedly slightly ambiguous).

She's not saying "we don't need to determine with scientific accuracy who did this, so screw the evidence", instead she is saying, "we can quickly determine with scientific accuracy who did this, because doing so doesn't require long investigations of forensic evidence."

In other words, we can be very sure very quickly after tracing the evidence, it won't take months and months of minute analysis.

Ann's point is hyperbolic but she's thinking more about wiping out the particular totalitarian strain of Islam better known as Islamist Nazism. We should make it as extinct as the British made the Thuggee cult in 19th century India. Religion shouldn't be used as cover to practice human sacrifices, commit mass murder, and launch a campaign of total war against the West. Islamist Nazism as we saw Tuesday is all too real and we should certainly seek out and destroy all the adherents and disciples of this nefarious criminal sect. Innocent people every where will thank us for it.

*No one would accuse Ann of getting her facts right.* Just list the facts! Nothing but the facts! I don't believe in censorship even when one dissents at a time like this. I do believe that site pests who just spout nonsense to upset a forum should be gone since they don't contribute anything for either side. This is a time of crisis for all of us, a time that emotions run high, but most of all a time for us to really communicate and, in the end, present ourselves as united for the world to witness. Patriots can disagree but to be a real patriot, our nation must come before personal hatreds. In my opinion, Ann got it right. Please explain her errors. God Bless Us All!

I love Barbara Olson and I love Ann. In this column Ann expresses concisely how we all feeling about the lost of Barbara. This is a great evil that has come upon our land?but it is also possible to bring greater evil into the world if caution and patience is not exercised in redressing this diabolical threat. There is no doubt that we are at war, but we don?t have to wage the war that bin Laden wants. She combines self-promotion with a eulogy for a friend, tacks on a random attack on Clinton, and then ends with an idiotic, inflammatory suggestion - that we convert them all to Christianity.
