Consequences in the long run

Many years ago, I wrote a book about the Pearl Harbor attack. Now I know how people felt on that fateful day, Dec. 7, 1941. The date of Sept. 11, 2001, will now also go down in history as a "day of infamy."

20,000 assumed killed -- that's 1 in 14,000 Americans murdered in cold blood.

One person in every small town throughout the USA, gone in an instant.

$30 billion in estimated damage, and that's "low"

That's like mugging every man, woman, & child in the USA for $100.

Consequences? For starters, demand that the $300 million Bin Laden allegedly owns, be seized - businesses, assets, real estate, whatever he has - and then turn over the proceeds to the victims' families. Make him broke, so he can't afford to hide - then smoke him out, extradite him, try him, execute him - by our law, using the same system he has tried so hard to destroy.
