US attack on Afghanistan would be fruitless: Taliban ABUL: Afghanistan's ruling Taliban militia on Wednesday said any retaliatory attacks on its country and Islamic extremist Osama bin Laden for the terror strikes in the United States would fail. "If they want to target particular persons, they won't be able to find them," Taliban spokesman Abdul Hai Mutmaen Said over telephone from the militia's southern Kandahar headquarters. "If they want to target a military or economic installation, we don't have any of such installations here in Afghanistan which is worth the price of one cruise missile.

It's such a typically cowardly response. The Taliban has been strutting around spewing anti-American rhetoric and sheltering terrorists like Bin Laden. Osama Bin Laden has done nothing but make threats and posture against all of us. Now that the attack has come, they all run and hide behind each other, crying "please don't hit us!" Their soldiers can't fight a war, and are afraid to do battle against armed forces, so they kill helpless civillians instead. If we have any rusty weapons laying in scrap, let's use those on them first. They don't even deserve our nice new bullets.

Question is, do we have enough cruise missiles. In his disgraceful and shameful effort to divert attention from Monicagate and in his attempt to avoid any casualties, Slick Willie just about depleted our inventory of cruise missiles. I'm sure there is an estimate out there as to how many missiles are left, but I don't have a number. Maybe someone else has a figure.

If the problem is Afghanistan, make it disappear. The complete nuclear destruction of an entire country would eliminate the problem in a day and send a message to terrorist-sponsoring governments througout the world.
