SPECIAL EDITION
The following photos are from the past 36 hours in the lives of President Bush, his wife, his staff, and his family. Pay paritcular attention to the close-up of his face, and look at his eyes. This great man had been crying. There are no words that I can express that can do justice to the powerful words these photos conjure up.
As you look at these photos, please think of all the people who have lost loved ones. Think of all the valiant fireman and police officers- including the entire bomb squad from the NYC police department. Think of the brave passengers on the flight that went down in PA. Think of our good friend Barbara Olson. Think of what might have happened had the plane hit the White House instead. Think of our country as a whole. Think of the colors, red, white, and blue.
And then think of the revenge, retaliation, and pay back that will happen in the days to come.

The look on President Bush's face in this first picture is so touching. He has been through pure hell since 6 o'clock yesterday morning.
May God bless President Bush and give him strength and wisdom while dealing with the fallout from the terrorist attacks that transpired yesterday.

Thanks for posting this photos today. Your opening was beautiful. I've been watching TV all day today, and watched most of the briefings to the press by Donald Rumsfield, Robert Mueller, Colin Powell, Ari Fleischer, and President Bush. I was struck by their resolve, but also struck about how drawn they looked, Ari Fleischer in particular. I'm fumbling for words, but the only thing that comes to mind is that the leaders are bloodied, but not bowed. God be with them and us.
