Radical Islam or Communist Direct Action

Last May, my family and I attended an Israel Independence Day street festival in the Boston suburb of Brookline, Mass.
I discreetly placed myself in the midst of a substantial and vociferous crowd of anti-Israel protesters stationed across the street.
The profile of the crowd was a mix of Arab students and the same old left-wing activists I’ve observed over the years in Boston.
It’s very likely that the hijackers who took of from Boston’s Logan Airport and crashed their passenger planes into the World Trade Center Towers were there.
The conversations, from all quarters, were the usual screed of anti-Israel, anti-American psuedo-Marxist drivel.
The atmosphere was anything but religious and, I would contend, quite reflective of a left-wing radical “Islamic” mindset.

I am convinced that the international program of terror, responsible for the irrational planned mass murders in this country and in the world, is, rather than Islamic, more communist in nature.
It is a major mistake to point the finger of blame on peoples and nations who profess the Islamic faith.
Islam essentially advocates peace and Islamic nations have, historically, been tolerant, albeit condescendingly, toward Christians, Jews, and other minorities living in their lands.
What’s happening today, with suicide bombers, is unprecedented in Islamic history because it’s not been a part of Islamic history.

While arguments can be made against Islam, I believe that this is the wrong road to choose.
The problem lies with segments of the Marxist Arab leadership who have chosen to radicalize their own people, particularly the young, by turning Islam into a vehicle of propaganda and brainwashing.
An analogous movement in the US is the so-called Islamic “Nation of Islam” which also derives its origins from communist activists.

Like the Nation of Islam, groups like the PLO, Hamas, Hizbollah, Habbash’s PFLP, and others, advocate a hybrid, politicized religion that they call Islam.
It is a political religion that has been stripped of traditional notions of morality.
These have been replaced by radical left-wing politics.

Communists are notorious masters at worming their way into societies by identifying an Achilles heel.
For example, in the US, that weakness was identified as early as the time of the Bolsheviks as racism, hence, a dialectic was set up to divide our society by fanning the flames of race conflict.
In Britain, the communists observed a tendency toward homosexuality amongst the ruling classes; hence, the homosexual spy rings, which included people, like Philby, Burgess, and Maclean.
In the Arab world the door toward communist subversion would be the infiltration of Islam, which they would alter to be used as a vehicle for terror against the capitalist west.

The Bath Socialist movement seized power in Syria, Libya, and Iraq soon after their independence in the 1960’s.
Saddam Hussein, like the Egyptian demagogue Abdul Gamel Nasser before him, is a hero of the international left and heads an entirely communistic regime.
Arafat was trained in Moscow in 1959 where his sponsors in the Kremlin set him up in an organization called Al Fatah with an open checkbook and carte blanche regarding propaganda support from the left-wing international press.
Al Fatah would be the founding group of the PLO, which is an umbrella of Marxist and left-wing militias.

While Hamas, Hizbollah, and other so-called Islamic groups pose as Islamic, an examination of their rhetoric and personnel reveal them as anything but religious.
Columnist Daniel Pipes recently wrote an expose on this fact.
They are posing as religious to shift attention from their true left-wing nature and sponsorship while, at the same time; they are besmirching the Islamic faith and religion in general.
In Israel, they are entirely controlled by Arafat who turns on and off the terrorist spigot when it fits the dialectical strategy.
The left media cooks up a conflict between the so-called Islamic groups and the so-called moderate PA.
This is one of the many big lies promulgated by international left-wing media stooges.
The revolting spectacle of the UN conference on racism was a classic example of the international left on display.

If we turn our anger toward Islam and Muslims, we are playing right into the hands of the radical terrorists who seek to trigger a religious war.
These same communist thugs are, to varying degrees, holding the Islamic world hostage as well with their threats and murder tactics.
Lets ask all freedom loving peoples of the world, including those living under the left-wing jackboot in the Islamic world, to join us in exorcising this malignant cancer.

We have a very dear family friend who, with his wife, is Druize (sp?) Muslim and there couldn't be kinder people on the face of the earth. I agree - it is specifically the Terrorist Nation which lives in autonomous cells via the internet with whom we are now at war. BUMP!

Chuck--you hit the nail on the head. Only a leftist thinks of these demented killers as "religious". They sing the tunes of the communists and carry out the missions of the communists. What are the chances of Bin Laden training pilots to hijack a Chinese plane and crash it into the Great Wall or the Forbidden City? Less than zero. Of course, we aren't supposed to suggest that anyone is a communist--the cold war is over, right?

I have seen the communist Muslims before, but Osama is not one of them.

Remember, Osama sort of FOUGHT A WAR against the Russians...

Just my two cents but the only Russian involvement I could see is the Russian Mafia. However, they are so greedy and this can't be good for business. They have their fingers in many pies in NY and probably lost money from this. I can see that this doesn't help the Chinese in their plans due to it's timing (still too early for them, a couple of years from now then it would help). Several areas that they are spreading their influence to may become parking lots. Heightened US security and possible better border security doesn't help their plans either. The only reason I can think of for Chinese support of this is that their "day in the sun" is over in regards to the cooperation from the previous administration. Once all of the "Clinton" is squeezed out of our government ( still not done yet), it will be too late for them. Maybe they thought it was now or never.
