BERLIN -- Germany's Foreign Ministry was evacuated Wednesday afternoon after receiving a bomb threat.
Employees left the ministry in central Berlin and were gathering outside, spokeswoman Antje Leendertse said. About 1,800 people work in the two-building complex.
Earlier, German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder urged the world to stand united against terrorism and renewed a pledge to help the United States find the terrorists behind the attacks Tuesday on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.
