Not sure what this means, but here is what my fiancee and I saw from her top floor apt and the roof of her Dupont Circle, DC place:
Watching TV, hear the word "Pentagon." Immediately went to window which faces West and to the left saw smoke.
I also saw a plane. We all know the smoke was caused by a plane crashing into it.
This SECOND PLANE that we saw had 4 engines and was VERY low. I thought it was military, and my first reaction was that it had DROPPED a bomb on the pentagon. We had not heard a plane hit the pentagon.
It was at EYE LEVEL. It made a sharp turn and then headed NW. Something was not right about it.
Until I saw the flight path of the Newark to Pittsburgh crash, I had assumed it was the one that continued to Pittsburgh. Now I have no idea what this plane was.
I called in the plane sighting to 911, who did not give a crap, they said they already had a ton of calls on the pentagon thing. I then reported it to channel 4 in DC.
Does anyone have any idea about what this second plane was? I have heard no reports at all about it. I can assure you it was WAY too low to have taken off from Reagan National.
Was it rubble from the Pentagon or something else, or is any of it true?
as for the rumors of fire near whitehouse, I heard that rumor while I was on the roof, and we looked and there was NO smoke. Depending on where one was in the city, it could have appeared as if the smoke came from POTUSville, but not from what I saw.
We are situated "between" the pentagon and Whitehouse... that is, looking due S, Pentagon is at about 1-2 o'clock and white house is at about 10.
"At 9:36 a.m., National Airport, which was on American 77's flight path, asked a military C-130 cargo plane, taking off on a scheduled flight from Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland, on the other side of the district of Columbia to intercept and identify the fast-moving target. The crew of the C-130 said it was a Boeing 757, moving low and fast."
