Sanborn leads Jaye in state Senate contest (BTW - WJR said Jaye LOST)

State Rep. Alan Sanborn was leading expelled Sen. David Jaye in early returns in Tuesday's Republican primary election to fill Jaye's old seat.

With 21 percent of districts reporting, Sanborn had 2,151 votes, or 48 percent, and Jaye had 986 votes, or 22 percent.

I'm glad he's gone. Jaye does more trouble to gunowners than he is worth. I like his views, but I hate his character, and I don't want to be like the democrats that say character doesn't matter. Alan Sanborn is very pro-2nd amendment, and can also work with other legislators. Jaye killed some pro-rights legislation in the past because Rocca and Sanborn wrote it.
