It's not the end of the world. The country did not shut down after Pearl Harbor. We pulled our socks up and got on with it. I was working at the Boeing plant in Seattle on that day. We kept on turning out planes. Later in the day Army or Guard troops were patroling the plant. There was an balconey right above where I was working and a soldier walked his post looking down on us. So unless we have gotten so soft we won't fight things will work out. There well may be bad days ahead, but it does no good to get in a blue funk. Hang in there girl............

Oh I know you are right West ... it's just this whole thing just breaks my heart .. parents who lost children and children who lost parents ... just makes you want to hug your kids tight and not let go ..
Not that I am a fan of CNN .. but the one guy reporting today .. his voice kept cracking .. then later at night he made a comment about thinking what was going threw his daughters mind .. was she feeling the same as he did as a kid hiding under the desks .. this is just so sad ...

John Gibson on Fox News has been especially astute with his questions and observations today - I tried to watch MSNBC for a minute, but couldn't handle Chris Matthews
