Innocent lives hang in the balance. That is the only possibly justification for torture.

Concur and it may alleviate the future use of weapons of mass destruction by more than one party. We need the equivalent of a Vulcan mind probe almost immediately.
The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.

Everyone forgetting what country we live in? I don't think its changed yet. They might even get bail. After that Katie Couric will set up their defense fund -- and numerous socialists will give money.

The needs of the innocent outweigh the nads of the terrorists.

I have no problem with hooking up car batteries to terrorists' genitals.

Torture should NOT be used to extract a confession, or on anyone who isn't DEFINITELY a terrorist. But to get information, which could save countless lives--we just lost tens of thousands today--that is worth violating a terrorists' "rights."
