PRODUCER WAS PASSENGER

David Angell, executive producer of the NBC television series “Frasier,” was listed among the passengers aboard Flight 11, according to his brother, Bishop Kenneth Angell of the Catholic diocese of Burlington, Vt. In a written statement, the bishop’s office said that David Angell and his wife, Lynn, were scheduled to return to Los Angeles after a family vacation at Cape Cod.

David Angell, who was a TV writer as well as a producer, won several Emmy awards for his work on “Frasier” and “Cheers.” (MSNBC is a Microsoft-NBC joint venture).

I just heard that Barbara Olsen (wife of the Solicitor General - Theodore Olsen) was on board one of the planes which hit the WTC. She was on her cell phone to her husband - she told him the plane had been hyjacked and they had knives. I was stunned when I heard it! I've enjoyed her writing so much, I will miss his candid comments. I pray she's with God - it is her family's only consolation.
