Barbara Olson-A Great Lady

Posted on 09/11/2001 4:50:22 PM PDT by Severnside

A point of personal privilege: We have lost a Great Lady today. Barbara and I were staff members on the Thompson Committee effort in 1997. We have lost an irreplacable fighter for the Cause of Freedom and Justice and I have lost a great friend.

I was shocked to hear that she was among the casualties, but not at all surprised to hear that until she drew her last, she did her best for her country. Her brave phone call might well have given us valuable clues which might eventually lead to the people--no, make that "monsters"--who have done this. Barbara Olson will be greatly missed.

I cried all day, since 9:05 this a.m. when I suddenly realized that this was not a radio drama but rather a serious attack on the U.S. It is perhaps the worst day of my life. It ranks up there. Here's hoping that many of the WTC folks will survive! There is little logical reason to believe that they will.

Got to meet Ted during the protest at the Atlanta Federal court,
my condolences to him and to all who knew her.

The ripples widen and reach out to touch us all.

Irreplacable is just the word that came to mind when hearing of her loss.
Please accept my heartfelt sympathy, and relay the same to her family.
I will never forget her.

We lost thousands of great ladies today. And thousands of great men. Let's not let our grief over one special person overshadow that.

The leftists are kicking themselves saying,

"Why the hell couldn't it have been Bay Buchanan?

Absoutely correct. A great lady and an invaluable asset to America.

Remember, she was ted Olsen's wife, and she wrote

"Hell to Pay" as a warning and character account about

Hillary Rodham Clinton.

I last saw her with her husband on the clsoing day of the Supreme Court around June 29 in the Supreme Court building just after the closing session of the last Sup. Ct. term.

Horrible!

She died after talking on her cell phone to her husband.

Evidnetly the terrorists were aremed only with knives and cardboard cutting devices.

Why were these jerks granted access to the cockpit??

I doubt the leftists have anything to fear from Bay Buchanan.
