Thank GOD we don't have a PUUSSSSS like Klinton in office now. I noticed that Fox News is refusing to show footage of the PEOPLE in the aftermath of the towers being hit. They say it's not the kind of thing they should show. I have been watching the Mexican stations all day and they ARE showing it, the people jumping and ALL OF IT. I think all the networks should show it so all the brain-washed liberals in this country can have a wake-up call. Showing the buildings falling doesn't really give a picture of the PEOPLE who were destroyed. Kudos to all the Spanish-speaking stations.

Good take. I managed to watch a bit of BBC and managed to see more of the 'real' footage also. Our press' arrogance and deciding what we should and shouldn't see if very discouraging.

Earlier today I thought maybe they shouldn't show any of it. Yes people need to know what's going on, BUT it gives the countries responsible the ability to see it too, and to cheer each and every time they see it. I don't like the idea that we are giving them this opportunity to see what their wrath has wrought. I don't want them to have this satisfaction.
Its a toss up, I guess.

They'd also provide a searing memory for children whose parents worked on those upper floors of WTC. Not to mention parents, friends, etc.
How would you like to wonder for the rest of your life if it was your own mother or father or child who you saw jump from that building?
I grasp what you mean about a wake-up call for liberals. But they're brain-dead anyway. I don't think this will wake them up after everything other graphic horror has failed.
I hope we continue to spare the loved ones of the victims.

I get BBC-America on Dish Network. Their coverage also is more graphic than what the U.S. media is showing us.

I heard them say that too, and my first thought (when they said they were protecting my delicate sensibilities) was "what about 'We Report, You Decide'?" Seems like they decided for us, doesn't it?
