Today America was forced to confront the truth, we are at war.
We actually have been at war for some time with a consortium of forces that have been emboldened by the actions of those who have done everything in their power to disarm our military forces over the last decade or so.
Todays attacks should serve to awaken even those who have steadfastly kept their heads under the sand.
At every junction where a decision has been required to take even modest actions to provide for increased vigilance be it either modest increases in the military budget or deployment of a basic missile defense the forces of surrender have stood as an implacable roadblock.
Unfortunately this story is still developing, as terrible as has been the damage done so far, the worst may not be over.
What we hope comes out of this horrific day is a realization that in a savage world, might makes right and the heretofore guiding philosophy of this nation, as espoused by the forces of surrender, must not stand.
Tomorrow we can unleash the true extent of our fury, whomever perpetrated this has not one whit of understanding of what they have unleashed the response will be devastating.
If its martyrs they want then we will accommodate them.
Today, however, is not a day for recrimination, it is time for prayer, a time to count and honor our war dead.
God bless America.
NEVER AGAIN!
