We shall not soon forget this date, for this is the day America awakened out of her sleep and unsheathed her sword.
We shall not forget. Liberty will be defended against any and all, both foreign and domestic.

September ll, or in numbers it is 911! 911 CAll and get help! How symbolic indeed

September 11, or numerically -- 911! 911 The number to call for help! How symbolic indeed
To: rdb3
How true!! I hope the President rethinks his border policy and the wisdom of granting blanket amnesty to those who beak our laws.
To: rdb3
IT'S TIME FOR OPERATION 911!!!
To: rdb3
I blame the democraps, the gutless republicans and Clinton for letting illegal aliens easy access through our borders. They are more concerned about re-election instead of the safety of Americans.

I have a feeling that all the US will do is rattle its sabres and make some noise. The Roman empire all over again.
Did anyone notice how "UN-Presidential" Bush appears. Terrible thing to say on a day like this.
We aren't the MEN our Brothers and Fathers and GrandFathers were 60 years ago.

No, I didn't notice your spurious observation. Instead of using callous invective regarding your President, try for a moment to put yourself in his shoes. That thought truly strikes terror in my heart. Perhaps you would prefer Mr. Bush to be sporting b.d.u's, a field pack, sidearm, K-Bar knife driving into Washington on an Abrams tank. Maybe you would be more comforted by seeing Klintoon in a pair of jeans and Madyllene Albright sporting a new brooch and goofy hat. Get real.

We aren't the MEN our Brothers and Fathers and GrandFathers were 60 years ago. Not as numerous as 60 years ago, but there are still some real men. One is my brother, he is on active duty today.
I know he will do his duty to the utmost. I hope he can do that and bring himself home in one piece.

Hey, I like the guy & I voted for him, but it's pretty conspicuous that the firemen ran towards the buildings & he flew West. Imagine Reagan or Clinton disappearing at a moment like this ?

As soon as those who really call the shots start to lose money we will declare all is forgiven and it will be business as usual. That is the reality. Don't like it but have to live with it.

I don't know about you all, but I am truly pissed! I don't care "who" is to blame as far as "who" let "who" into these great States. No, what I'm concerned with is how we as AMERICANS will exact recompense for the thousands upon thousands of AMERICANS who has their blood needlessly shed today.
09 - 11 - 01 !
We shall NOT forget!

Lacking authenticity or validity in essence or origin. Probably not the word you were looking for.
To address your, um, emotional response, the man looked like I expect I would have looked like, UN-Presidential, scared. Bush is no Reagan, Nixon or Truman. His response was non-responsive. This was an act of War not a suicide bomber. This, first and foremost, was an attact against the United States, not an "attack against freedom".
I would heve been more comforted hearing Bush say that no means of retaliation has been ruled out. I would have been more comforted if Bush told Afganistan they had 24 hours to produce Bin Ladin or face annihilation. I would have been more comforted if Bush told the American people that any country that harbors or supports terrorists should consider themselves to be at WAR with the United States.
I supported Bush over MacLame and Gore, but so far, rather than handling, he has been handled by this situation.
