Has anyone heard any news about Rush's where abouts? Could he have been in one of the Towers?

Rush is in Omaha, Nebraska attending a charity fund-raiser hosted by Warren Buffet.

Rush is off today, as previously scheduled. Also, I'm fairly sure he broadcasts out of Florida.

His website says that he's been in touch with his staff and is fine.

ere in New York, I think he usually does the show at the WABC-AM studios near Penn Station and Madison Square Garden, some ways from the WTC. I think it'd be more likely he would have been there at that time of the morning than at the towers.

When Rush is broadcasting from New York he is at the studios of WABC radio at Two Penn Plaza (The fictional EIB Building)which is a few miles north of today's disaster scene. I am 26 miles to the East, here on long island and I can see the smoke rising from my upstairs windows. I am stunned and in utter disbelief of what has happened. If a movie script had today's events in it, I would have deemed in laughably inplausible, until now.

No, Rush doesn't do the broadcast from NYC any longer (He made it there, so I guess he can make it "anywhere").
I believe he does his broadcasts from near his home in Palm Beach, FL.

Just remember.... it doesn't matter where "here" is... Strange thing that Rush has noticed lately, is that all the big stuff happens, on his days off. You can imagine tomorrow's show will be very interesting. Our prayers go to the whole city of NY during this tragedy.

Rush is hiding under a chair. He'll be talking tough on the radio once the smoke clears.

I'm hearing the call on KFI right now. I know he does a lot of the shows from West Palm these days, but these people were thinking he might be in New York, and I just wanted to make sure people knew that even if he were there, it'd be unlikely he was close enough to the WTC to be caught in it.

Rush has previous practice at hiding. He was missing in action during the Vietnam war as well. God Bless America.

Get lost.

Rush is hiding under a chair. He'll be talking tough on the radio once the smoke clears. And you'll be tap-tap-tapping a computer keyboard, putting words on a screen, talking tough.
Difference is, Rush Limbaugh makes millions and influences many, while you, well, you just type a lot.
