For the sake of the innocent people of Afghanistan, who have already suffered so much in the last 20 yearws, I hope this apology is sincere.

Because if it is not, and if we discover that Bin Laden's Afghanistan-based organization is responsible for this, we will have no honorable choice but to hold the NATION of Afghanistan responsible.

Well said.
I'd hate to be held responsible for clinton's actions over the last decade.
But raw terrorism must be replied to.
Targeting the "leaders" would be the best reply,
but, unfortunatly, that is not usually how it's done.
(None of the "powers that be" want to set precidents.)
