Just heard on FOX that it was headed for Camp David. Also remarked about the names of the hijacked airliners......... American and United. Symbolism?

This would be a logical reaction. Tragic and sad, but completely understandable.

There was a call made from a wireless phone that was picked up by 911 dispatch in Westmoreland County, from the tail bathroom of that plane, according to both KDKA radio and KQV radio in Pittsburgh.
The person said the plane had been hijacked.
While on the call, an explosion could be heard.
I tend to think that your contact is correct.

Are there any TV crews covering the Pennsylvania crash? I have seen no footage on FoxNews.

I doubt the terrorists would broadcast where they were going. We are probably splashing every hijacked plane.

Eyewitness report from ground in Somerset Co. (I heard person interviewed over Pgh radio station) was that plane was flying way lower than normal for that size plane, then banked somewhat and headed straight down into the ground.

"Headed straight down."
Maybe this can be explained by a struggle in the cockpit rather than being shot down by the Air Force.

a pilot would never crash his aircraft into a populated are even if he had a gun pointed to him- if he was going to die either way their is no way they could force him to do it in a populated area

I have also heard that two inbound flights from Europe are not answering their radios. Has anybody heard what has happened to them?

The plane crashed about twenty miles south of my location. Everything around here shut down. Eyewitness on local TV saw plane bank and turn, and he knew it was in trouble. He did not report any smoke or fire at that time. He could have been mistaken, of course. The USAF taking it out certainly makes cold sense.

I've heard 4 different eyewitness reports from thelocal news and there is no way it was shot down. I sounds more likely that a heroic pilot crashed the plane, but that is just speculation.

Does anyone know what time the Newark to San Francisco flight left Newark? A friend's son was on a flight this morning from Newark to SF and we think his aircraft landed in Milwaukee. Also, my hands are shaking as I write this. My daughter was on the 38th floor of the first building that was hit this morning. I finally heard from her that she got out. They ran down the stairs and were out before the second plane hit.

Professional airline pilots are the kind of people who would try to go down in the area with the least population. These terrorists must have killed the crews and made kamikaze runs themselves.

I haven't heard anything more about those European flights and am VERY curious about that. It is unheard of for flights to be out of contact like that. I've only heard one report about this on Fox News, and that was almost two hours ago.
