I agree that the "real" enemy should be punished. But seems to me part of the "real" enemy is those in the U.S. responsible for airport and airline security. The amazing thing here is that 4 different hijackers at at least 3 different airports hijacked 4 different planes on the same morning and NONE of them were stopped! How horrible must our airport security be?
