you sir seem to be reliving the same threads I am! LOL. Not that these threads have much to laugh about, but I've seen you on the end of quite a few of them...

Are we even a little bit safer today ? My guess is no. Thank your Congressman/ Congresswoman for that. They should hang after the next attack.

And there will be more attacks I fear.

When the terrible mass murder of our innocents happened on 9/11/01, we were on vacation in a semi isolated area of midcoastal Oregon.

We cancelled our vacation and didn't get back home until the evening of 9/12/01. I was starved for news and so was my wife.

When we got back and unloaded the SUV, she told me to go log on FR to see what was happening as she phoned relatives and friends to let them know that we were home safe.

I went to the breaking news area to see what was the latest news.

Whenever, I went to these original posts, I could not go through the original replies at that time emotionally. I still have a hard time. Now I am taking the time to do this. Again, I'm amazed at the brillance and compassion of so many Freepers.

There is probably a good book in these replies with a good researcher.

As you noted on another reply on another of these threads, we will never forget. One way to insure not forgetting is to go through these threads and their replies.
