Perhaps he is referring to Detroit, where the largest population of immigrant muslims live. Now I cannot verify a number of reports I've heard from a few friends who listen to talk radio, but what I was told was that in the aftermath of 911, for a time last fall, there were *many* callers to a whole variety of national talk radio shows who clearly identified themselves as AMERICAN blacks from Detroit, MI - and they were described to me as being livid on the radio, insisting that the muslim immigrants who'd all gravitated to this U.S. muslim center GO HOME NOW.
I don't listen to much radio, so I did not hear any of these calls firsthand, but I did hear about them.
