MCCARTNEY SNUBS HILLARY PHOTO-OP: All Together Now
NY Daily News ^ | 9/11/01 | Mitchell Fink

Posted on 09/11/2001 5:23:55 AM PDT by Liz

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton was willing but Sir Paul McCartney wasn't.

"I don't pose for pictures with anyone," the ex-Beatle told The News' Richard Corkery when our photographer asked him for a shot with New York's junior senator.

The two were appearing at the fourth annual Redbook Mothers & Shakers Awards lunch at Avery Fisher Hall, where Clinton was the keynote speaker and honoree. McCartney arrived with fiancée Heather Mills.

But later in the greenroom, when no photographers were around, McCartney found a piano, sat down and started to play. Hillary found room on the seat beside him, and the photo ban seemed forgotten. "Yesterday" has a way of doing that.

That's one large piano bench, I'd say!

Clinton was the keynote speaker and honoree.

Hellary is certainly a mover and a shaker, but the mother award is worse than a barf alert! Rumor has it that McCartney immediately had her tested for rabies.

Just more news on what a arrogant bitch she is. He asked her not to do it and the self centered, vile, evil, despicable spawn of satan ignored his wishes and did it anyway.

Hmm.. Paul should have played George's Piggies

Piggies (Harrison)

Have you seen the little piggies
Crawling in the dirt
And for all the little piggies
Life is getting worse
Always having dirt to play around in.

Have you seen the bigger piggies
In their starched white shirts
You will find the bigger piggies
Stirring up the dirt
Always have clean shirts to play around in.

In their styes with all their backing
They don't care what goes on around
In their eyes there's something lacking
What they need's a damn good whacking.

Everywhere there's lots of piggies
Living piggy lives
You can see them out for dinner
With their piggy wives
Clutching forks and knives to eat their bacon.

I wish an organization would award mother-of-the-year awards to women who struggle to raise their children and do a good job despite adversity.

The Wal-mart evening check-out who is home with her kids all day and goes to work when her husband comes home. The inner-city mom who makes her kids stay in and do homework, and sends them to private school because she and her husband do without. The migrant workers from Texas who don't send their kids in the fields once school starts, and want them all to go to college. The average suburban mom who volunteers countless hours at PTA, Little League, and Sunday school and is sneered at by people like Hillary.

THOSE are the kinds of people who should be getting these awards.

He should have brought along "Maxwell's Silver Hammer".

Yes Hillary is such an opportunist. The whole scenerio was to get that picture with the cool McCartney so it could aired over TV Etc. for the young and in crowd to see how in touch and well like she is among the musical greats! McCartney has a wonderful girlfriend, and I think he's a pretty decent guy who was well aware of how he was to used by Hill for this photo opt.

Kudos to McCartney.
Another "Cross-building on the beach at Normandy" was averted.
