Ny computer crashed big time about three weeks ago, so I lost my statistical bookmarks. They are government statistics. You get five or six sets of statistics. The one used in most political/economic arguments is family income. When you look close you find out men are putting their wives to work competing with them for their own jobs. The result is two people working for what was formerly 75% salary with an increase in total family income.<p. On close examination you find white male inclome is down. You also find people at the 60th percentile and below have taken a beating while the top quartile is doing well. Vut the top quartile is the people who write economics articles saying how nice things are.

My goal was always to make 2000 times my age and I've blown that out of the water thanks to Mr. Gates -- which I think deserves more economic credit than Commrade Clinton.
