NEW YORK -- Stop Commercial Exploitation of Children, a coalition of activists and organizations concerned about advertising for children, announced Monday its first "Have You Lost Your Marbles?" awards for groups it feels have encouraged or engaged in exploitive marketing.

Hypocrisy Award: "Teletubbies" and The itsy bitsy Entertainment Co.

"For making unsubstantiated claims that the TV program 'Teletubbies,' broadcast on PBS, is educational for children as young as 12 months, and for creating toy promotions with McDonald's and Burger King while claiming to be a leader in the fight against childhood obesity."

I would be happy to see the children get to live first and then worry about what they see on television. These people need to go after the abortionists who are doing more harm to kids than the Teletubbies.
