Book festival has reading for all

Not everyone had a book in their hands, but everyone undoubtedly was a reader at the National Book Festival yesterday on the east lawn of the U.S. Capitol.

Thousands thronged to the heart of the District to celebrate books and American writing in the largest book and literacy event to have been organized here.

I saw the interview with Mosely. He was pretty upfront about not agreeing with the Bush administration, but loved the idea of being invited to the festival. A big bipartisan success!

Too bad he had to inform us of his political bent.....and his ignorance, IMHO. Every decent american should be a conservative...LOL

Yes, I don't understand those to whom politics are everything. I knew Mosely was a liberal from his writing, but so what? He did a delightful interview, I don't know why he had to interject those comments about the Bush administration and not agreeing.

I suspect they don't want their lib friends to get the wrong idea so they affirm their politics....sad, the peer pressure, and they wonder why kids can't just say NO.
