The U.S. male population grew slightly faster than the female population in the 1990s, narrowing the gap between the number of men and women in this country, according to a new Census Bureau analysis released today.
A census brief titled "Gender 2000" shows that the number of males rose at a rate of 13.9 percent in the last decade, compared with 12.5 percent for females.

The hidden sexism of NOW, Planned Parenthood, and the DNC is that MORE FEMALES ARE ABORTED THAN MALES!
Sonography allows for gender identifation. This situation is amplified in Asia, where female fetuses/babies are being slaughtered at an even higher rate than the US thanks to fetal sonograghic sex determination.

No they don't hate women they seem them as worthless. If you hated someone you would at least view them as a person with some sort of value. This view is not only in china and india btw it also is the same for many asian nations in that area with the exception of japan and a few island nations.

My stab at the explanation
- Alaska, western prairie states: the harsh environment drives out women
- DC, Gary: The high crime rates among resident males, mostly black teens. A lot of them are killed during gang warfare, drug deal done bad.
- Massachusetts, Rhode Island:Maybe they are quiet places or maybe there are crime strongholds I am not aware of
- California, Nevada: heavy Mexican presence. Many Mexican guys leave their family back in Mexico.

The article doesn't mention that the reason why there are more males now than females is because more males than females entered our nation, legally and illegally.
