I used to live 1/2 a mile from Lincoln village. Shootings and random gun fire are common there. It got lots worse after Clintoon closed Mather AFB and downsized the defense industries. What I hear from others that escaped to other parts of Scaramento is it is still a pit, and never bounced back after the base closure.

I still remember gripping a 9mm at a stop light after witnessing a drive buy shooting. The shooter car pulled along side my pickup and I told companion to look straight ahead. The Barneys were all on strike that weekend, so we didn't even bother to report it.
