"remind me sometime to tell you of the boston tunnel that changes at every sneeze"

This article is from the AP and written in Chicago, the Globe merely carried it. The poster could have gotten it from AP wires if he/she wanted to.

The moral of this story is just get rid of all the manufacturing plants in this country. Bingo no more layoffs, no more unemployment. Welfare for all.

"Manufacturing towns hit harder by unemployment woes as retail sales decline."......so what else is new? Been going on since NAFTA! Manufacturing towns have been in a Recession for almost 9 years, if not longer! People who earn minimum wage don't have money for anything but the barest necessities-and even then, things like doctor's visits, teeth, tires, etc. have to await a miracle! I remember when all of America was prosperous. What a wonderful time that was-everyone was proud to be an American!
