Czar Davis shows disregard for interests of Californians

Mr. Uhler is president of the Sacramento-based National Tax Limitation Committee.

Gov. Gray Davis stood on a newly opened section of a Southern California freeway recently and announced that no more freeways would be constructed in California. For the state built on the automobile, this is akin to China banning rice. Even the communist dictators are more sensitive to China's needs and political reality than Davis is to California's well-being.

as delightful as it would be to see old red stew in his own sewage (that he created)
the neosocialists don't see a problem, and the republicans will probably give him a pass.

maybe california should be split into two states, northeast california,
with new elections being held for governor,
and the peoples republic of southwest california, with
red at the helm for the next five years, at which time it is
ceded back to mexico.
