I join you in prayer for this nation that she will turn to Him, and for President Bush that he will seek God and His direction, for my hope is in the Lord and none other.
Thanks be to You, our God, for the victory You have given us through Jesus Christ! When we consider the promise of eternal life with You, our troubles on earth can be seen through new perspectives. For though our problems are real, yet we know they are only temporary, just as are all the things of this world. We look forward to the day when we may dwell with You, Great God, in the beautiful place You have prepared for us. Thank you for the freedom we have to worship you in this country.
We are so grateful for all that You have done in our nation. Though it is easy to focus on everything that is wrong, we can see where Your hand has been at work. We are thankful, Father, for the President You have allowed as our political leader. We are thankful that he loves You and that he seeks Your guidance in all that he does. We are grateful for the opportunity to pray for him each day and to seek Your highest blessings for him and this nation. And we are eternally thankful for the answers You provide to our supplications.
Father, may Your Spirit dwell upon President Bush this weekend as he rests. Please fill him with the spirit of wisdom and understanding; the spirit of counsel and of power; the spirit of knowledge, and the fear of the Lord. Restore him physically, emotionally, and spiritually, God of our strength. Let him not grow weary in doing good, but let him endure so that he may receive the peaceable fruits of righteousness. Father, help him with every problem that he faces, and let him remember that nothing is impossible when it is in Your hands.
Gracious God, You are well aware of how our nation has succumbed to loud voices that scream for tolerance but do not want the conservative voices to be heard. We ask that You would raise up for us fearless voices that will speak the truth about issues where only one side is currently given consideration. Steel our senators with backbones that will not crumble or bow to political correctness. Cover each of us with Your full armor each day, that we may not be afraid to stand for what is good and right and just and true.
Defend Your prayer warriors against the attacks of satan, God of truth. The prince of darkness knows each of our weaknesses and seeks to silence our efforts to pray by attacking us in the areas where we are most vulnerable. Make us wise to his lies, Father, and strengthen us to endure the battle. We lift these prayers to You that Your glory may be revealed in America, and that Your will may be done in heaven and earth. Thanks be to You, our God, in the name of Jesus, our King. Amen.
We pray in earnestness for President George W. Bush. As those who seek to undermine his presidency go about their divisive work, we ask that You would uphold him, protecting him from all harm both spiritual and physical. Grant him a wisdom that only You can bestow. Enfold him in Your arms and pour Your Spirit upon him and upon his family.
We ask that You remove those forces in our nation which are causing harm and turning the people from You. We ask You to show us how we can help. Grant us strength and perseverence as we maintain our prayer vigil, but also show us what You would have us do to reclaim our nation in Your Name.
Send us revival, oh Lord. Pour Your spirit upon our country. Heal our wounds, and drive the evil one from our midst.

Lord, you are indeed the Creator of all; nothing is too difficult for you because you know everything.
Forgive us when we forget about Your omnipotence, Your control over all events, Your desire for only the best for us.
We thank You, Father, for Your forgiveness and Your perfect love. Thank You for teaching us how to love, Lord. Thank You for the rich beauty which surrounds us in your creation. Thank You for the eternal security we can find only in You, through your Son, Jesus Christ.
I pray today, Lord, for our President, who faces several difficult problems. Many are eager to predict his doom. Many are eager to do whatever they can to ensure his doom, even if it means harm to innocent, powerless people. Many are eager to belittle him and say, "See! Your God is not so powerful after all." FAther, I pray that President Bush would place his faith squarely on Your power and character. I pray that he would place his trust in You. I pray that he would continue to proclaim his belief in You, and in Your power to change lives. I pray that you will help him overcome the obstacles erected at every single turn in which he tries to make decisions about the economy, immigration, judicial appointments, faith-based initiatives, education, and every other area in which he meets resistance. I pray that, in helping President Bush face down his enemies, you would shape these policies to be pleasing and glorifying to You so that, as President Bush continues to profess faith in You, people will know the source of his wisdom and be moved to confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
Lord, I pray that you would work in the hearts of believers across America, awakening them to the dire moral situation at hand in our country, and arouse in them a resolve to become active, pray more, and take responsibility as parents and citizens.
Bless each of us here, Lord, as we begin a new week as your servants. In Jesus' name, Amen.
I lift up President Bush and ask that you hand and your Spirit will surround him and guide him every minute of every day. Protect him from every trap the enemy sets. Deliver him from his enemies. Keep him pure and humble, and through your greatness build him up. Grant him favor in the eyes of men, but most importantly keep him in your favor. Tear down the mountains of opposition to every plan he has that is blessed by you. Let him know immediately when he has strayed from your will, and give him the boldness to act on your leading even if it isn't popular.
I remember, too, your chosen Christian servants in all areas of public service. Bless those who love you. Build up your army, Lord. Place those faithful to you and your will into every key position of influence. Let favor and resouces flow openly to those who call on your name and follow your plans with their actions. We long for a time of revival that will bring renewed righteousness. We are so tired of the wickedness that invades every corner of society. Please forgive us, Lord. Have mercy Lord. Please save us.
Finally I ask for your continued protection and blessing for those who gather here to pray. Keep us faithful to committment and increase our numbers. May this gathering be pleasing in your sight. I ask this and all things in the name of your precious son, Jesus. Amen
