Foreign troops on the way to Kosovo started passing through Yugoslav territory. Yugoslav Ministry of Defense has made a detailed plan for passing of foreign military convoys. So far, Russian, Slovakian, Ukrainian, Turkish and troops from Finland have passed. Soldiers are traveling apart from their weapons and equipment. Only stops on the road are permitted, for no Yugoslav objects are available for use.

Did those detailed plans include draping the roads with black crepe?

So far, Russian, Slovakian, Ukrainian, Turkish and troops from Finland have passedNATO troops?? Only Turks are NATO, and they probably didn't wish to go through Macedonia (Turkey to Kosovo via Bulgaria, last leg is either Mak or Yugo)
The rest needed NATO to make Yugo govt let them thru?
Remember 1999 race to Pristina Airport?

The Serbs have a talent for f*cking up everytime they're about to win - be it football, basketball or politics & diplomacy. Instead of letting these kindergarten-bombing scumbags drown in their own sh*t, we're allowing them to pass through our country. Unbelievable.
There's my comment.

I saw a convoy of 5 Hummers headed North on the expressway just south of Belgrade last week. No flags on them, just green cammo. So, unless someone else has Hummers, the US sent troops thru last week, although (wisely) without flags.

I'm sure some pretty heavy deals have been made in return. The question is... who gets to benefit? Nato should pay reparations now and the UN, EU etc should be helping to rebuild Serbia. That's the only way forward!

Reparations won't happen, but economic assistance and cooperation seem certain given recent government changes in Serbia.
