And what in the hell do Press' kids do when he tells them what to do? His speech is slippery in that it contnually omits and fabricates meanings for words or just shifts context, even in the middle of a sentence. He is nuts.

Callers filled with hatred on both sides. Even "independents" hate Barbara Olsen. Politics in the trenches of America are a mess. I hate to say this, but Al Gore needs to come out and tell the goons on the left that the elections IS OVER and to move on with a pro-American agenda and not focus on party politics.

The last caller on the program said she was a "Republican", she was lying. She was insulting and rude to Ms. Olson, and HAS to be a Democrat. The Liberals have taken over CSPAN, I wouldn't be surprised if there weren't phone banks. I used to love CSPAN, but it has become another arm of the DNC.

I only saw a few sound bytes because I can't stand Press, but I did see the reaction to Ms. Olson's comment about Marxism. His retort was that she had no right to call Hillary a Marxist. Ms. Olson immediately corrected him stating that Hillary and every college student of her age was subjected to Marxism, and she never called Hillary a Marxist. He then told her to "just hear me out".

Reminds me of a comment I believe was posted on this website concerning an argument between a conservative and a liberal. The liberal makes an inane statement and the conservative points out that the comment is an outright lie. The liberal's retort was, "Yea, I know, but just hear me out".

Boy, I agree with you about the Liberals taking over the program. Most of these callers are just too stupid to be regular C-Span viewers. I seriously think the Democrats have a group of idiots whose sole job is to call in and annoy anyone on the Right. Seems as though the calls are far from evenly balanced between the parties. Barbara was terrific! Kept her cool.

I agree. I used to be a CSpan junkie, now I just check in occasionally to see who's on. Most of the moderators are either stupid or democrats the way they refuse to dump an obvious democrat liar who calls in on the Repub line. It happens every time I tune in, and has for at least 2 years now. CSpan has no credibility left.

Excellant point but unfortunately I don't believe Al Gore has moved on and I don't think he is capable of doing so.

Even the Dems who can accept the election results have to stir up trouble to get the turnout they want in 2002.

The only way the republicans have a prayer to keep the House and take back the Senate in 2002 is election reform and that aint gonna happen.
