Officials call for immigrant sex education to cut rape toll
Gender equality officials in Norway are suggesting sex education classes for new immigrants to help cut offences of rape.
Statistics from the Oslo region have shown attackers of non-Western origin were described in 65% of all reported rapes.
The report describes an immigrant as a person born outside Norway or born in Norway of two parents from outside the country. Immigrants make up 14% of the population of Oslo.
Rachel Paul, from the Centre for Gender Equality, told daily newspaper Dagbladet that immigrants needed to be informed about sexual behaviour in Norway.
She said: "A good idea would be to offer sexual education to male immigrants when they arrive in Norway."
The newspaper reports that politicians from left-wing parties have responded positively to the idea.

Note to Norway: Look, you twits. I'll save you the trouble. These miscreants know about "sex", but rape isn't about sex. It's called "violence". Now, you want to "educate" these new arrivals on proper, acceptable behavior in your little country? Fine. Sit 'em down, show 'em a .50 calibre round, and tell 'em that's what awaits rapists in your country. Smile as you do it.
Think I'm kidding?
Whoa lets try a little math ed: we can't figure out how many of the 14% are rapists from the data given....lets just say most rapes are committed by immigrants and leave it at that. I like the .50cal solution.
It is hard to believe that these people used to be Vikings. Sad, really.
I could hazard a guess. I'm certain the article was vague, so they wouldn't "offend".
What is the penalty for rape? I'd bet that hanging would get the message across.
From the article: Statistics from the Oslo region have shown attackers of non-Western origin were described in 65% of all reported rapes.
It appears that the author was trying to be vague as well.
We can dismiss the "it's violence" argument with a little rational thought about the matter. The argument is usually prefaced with the thought that males seek to exert physical dominance over the females, ergo, they use rape for this purpose.
In the first place, because of genetically driven sexual dimorphism, males are larger than females. Because of testosterone, males are far stronger than females. Ordinarily, an average male can commit an act of violence against an average female with impunity. Most of the time they don't. In fact, under most circumstances, and even in societies driven by the code of machismo, most males don't lash out at every woman, or even very many women, most of the time.
If a male felt the need to exert physical dominance, it is not clear why he would commit rape since, after all, he already HAS physical dominance.
On the other hand, females are sufficiently selective in their dealings with males that some males are simply left without appropriate sexual outlets. Combine that with a bad attitude about being mannerly and obeying the law, and you see the motive for rape - it is clearly, sex, not dominance or violence.
To the victim of rape, the whole act undoubtedly seems to be nothing other than mindless violence, but we are not talking about the victim's point of view - merely that of the rapist.
A rapist may be some ugly dude looking to get his rocks off with a real female for once.............but to the victim and society, it's an extreme act of violence and is prosecuted accordingly.
Australia now is having an identical problem. (Wonderful gun-ban Australia!) Police there are cited in the July 29 Sydney Morning Herald as saying that Third World immigrants are responsible for what Australian police openly term a "cultural" pattern of gang rapes of young white Australian women. Similar trend in France is so common as to have spawned a noun, "le tournant," to describe Third Worlders gang-raping white French girls.

might I suggest that liberal use of this tool would be far more effective than sex education? It could even be accompanied by a poster camapaign-- "Rape is a eunech experience."In 2000, some 10,842 persons submitted asylum applications in Norway, an increase of six percent over the number who applied in 1999 and more than four times the 1997 figure.
More than 3,000 of the applications filed in 2000 came from Kosovo Albanians who were evacuated to Norway in 1999 and whose temporary permits expired in the spring of 2000. In total, 4,188 persons from the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia applied for asylum in Norway in 2000, comprising the largest group of asylum seekers.
Significant numbers of asylum seekers also arrived from Somalia (910), Iraq (766), Romania (712), Slovak Republic (507), Russia (471), Iran (327), Afghanistan (326), Bosnia (272), and Pakistan (220).

In many cases, motivation become the major focus for the lawyer for the accused. Jury nullification is a prime example of the success of this assault on the quest for truth.
