The bucket!
Someone like Applebaum isn't on a path to "getting a job".
He *may* become a bounty/publicity hunting lawyer, or he may become a Dem pol or govt attorney.
None of those qualifies as "a job" to real-world people.
He should know---
And Al is the expert on showboating, publicity-seeking, and being a thug so he ought to be able to recognize his own tactics.
I did not protest to silence Sharpton. I protested the invitation to Sharpton to be the Orientation speaker.
Sharpton is not just a demagogue. He is a race-baiter whose protests have incited murder on 2 occasions. He crossed a line when he called for the destruction of a Jewish clothing store anda Korean grocer, and both were burnt down. He crossed a line when he took a traffick accident and turned it into an excuse for blacks to launch a pogrom against Jews, killing one Jew and one Latino.
By having Sharpton as the first speaker of the year, the ReOrientation speaker, whose job is to define the community, the political union and the university made Jews whites and Koreans (altogehter 70%+ of the university) second class citizens. If that didn't deserve protest, what does?
