The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left. Ecclesiastes 10:2

LABOR DAY EDITION
In light of the Daffodil Principle where individual efforts over time add up to a mammoth contribution, we are looking at ways to use this lesson as we seek to promote conservatism, the Republican Party and the administration of George Bush.
We are currently involved in a letter-writing campaign - Project Daffodil-Letters. Some of us have been involved in the Klamath Falls Petition, and the People First petition to defund the Endangered Species Act. For more information about these projects and future projects, please visit the link above (Click on the picture above.)

Whoops!!! Only me so far - any letters to be added? Visitors and Lurkers - please join us in being citizens - not just spectators. Please write those letters to get your thoughts to those who have the power to do something about them. To be included in the Daffodil Project, just post a note telling me addressee, location, date, and subject and I will add your effort to our log so that we can see where our efforts are directed each month. Letters will not be posted on our Letters of the Guild since COB1 is unavailable for a time but we will list on the log if you would like. |

I guess I've been bad. I've written and just sent them off. Activism on the run I guess.

Thank you ClancyJ for the work you do with our letters each month.
I loved reading your rundown of the TV shows Andy Griffith. Those sure were the best days for TV. Feel good, fun shows. Thanks.

I sure wish I could fit all the names in the to list. But it also is so great to know there are soooooooo many that love that there is a Guild at our fabulous Free Republic.
I am just wishing all of you that are still awake a good nights sleep and those that are not awake yet for Sunday a Hapyy day .
Snow Bunny helpful tip..... Heh heh....
The reason the name 'throw pillows' was invented must be because of Clinton and the dems on the Sunday morning political talking heads shows. ( giggle)
Mr. Snow Bunny uses them to throw at the TV screen when he gets furious with the dem spin .

Me too, I'm afraid. I know I wrote one of the networks about the fall loosening of morality in the new schedule. But could not find it. Showed me why it was a good idea for me, at least, to keep a log.

It's been a long night. My Mom fell and broke her hip yesterday afternoon and we didn't find her until last night. I just came home for a quick shower and change of clothes...she's going into surgery in about an hour. Poor dear, she's 86, frail and now this. I don't know how much more she can take. But she's a trooper, no complaining.
Please start a prayer chain for her in my absence. I may not be around much for the next few days, but your thoughts and prayers will mean a lot.

BTW, God knows her as "Tillie."
That blurred my eyes: should be the title to a novel, a poem, or a song.
A prayer has been sent for you, your mother, and your family. JL

Prayers for your mom Tillie. How awful it must have been waiting for help. I love her name, Timeout. Will be thinking of you all, and praying the surgery went well and all of you can get some much-needed rest while she recovers.
