Is the entire family so defensive of Gary Condit because they know that he really didn't kill Chandra, but rather is covering for the little woman?

You're probably right. Is it possible that Carolyn knew about his kinky behavior and had threatened to expose him if he didn't keep quiet? Just thinking out loud. I've thought from the beginning that Condit had either killed her or had her killed. That People Mag picture of Carolyn just gave me the creeps though.
