The National Enquirer: CONDIT LOVE LETTERS: Enquirer has obtained copies of letters froma Condit mistress to a friend about their affair. The mistress' name is being kept anonymous. Some details in the letters include that she too, was told not to carry ID. The FBI has copies of the letters. The friend who gave the letters to the FBI and the Enquirer was leaned on by a Ceres police officer to not contact the FBI.
Star Magazine: CHANDRA'S BODY IN CAVE: This article says that the Levy family believes Condit was up to no good when he called Anne Marie Smith from Luray, Va. on the night of May 17, and suspect he may have dumped Chandra Levy's body there. They've been urging their investigators as well as official investigators to dig into this connection. A supposed FBI theory cited (which has been this author's theory for some time now), has Condit having killed Levy on May 1 and leaving the body in DC, but panicking when the Levys came to town and the spotlight heated up on May 16, and moved the body to somewhere in the vicinity of Luray, an area known for its caves. Star also as a picture of the pay phone Condit called Smith from, a payphone which Condidit.com readers already saw in exclusive photos last week.
Sounds plausible to me. Can we please get Mikey in front of a Grand Jury, so he can swear to his whereabouts on May 17? Not to mention, whether he was really with Condit "all day" May 1, and if so, what were they up to, and who else can vouch for it? Pretty please?
Guess you never watched LK during the OJ trial.
I wonder who the officer was. You know, Jim Robinson (attorney for AMS) alluded to something similar in a CNN interview (with Greta van Susteren). A situation where some kind of intimidation or harrassment was intended. He was in California, meeting with Ernie Norris to get paperwork ready for that Grand jury filing.
He described "... a very unusual situation where I was being followed for a very, very long at a very close distance. A whole lot of people knew where I was staying, et cetera. I wasn't hiding or anything. And they made a point of letting me know that they knew where I was. I -- you know, I almost stopped and asked, you know, what they are doing, and they just proceeded on."

FWIW, I actually think the interview style of King helps "out" BS artists. He asks the easy and/or obvious questions without follow-up, getting the guests version, and we are left to decide how much went unanswered, to weigh the genuineness of the guest. Cadee sure had a facade of a sweet, cool, 'n' pretty, butter wouldn't-melt-in-her-mouth type, but I saw the mask slip off at least a couple of times. COndit family values include making stuff up - one notable example was the S&M breakfast vignette - completely made up, derived from a movie line and probably a family in-joke.
They certainly have deisplayed a talent for petty, vindictive and trashy little family in-jokes, which I am pleased most journalists choose to ignore.
