Al-Khalil, Sept 8, IRNA -- The Zionist occupation army continued its rampage of murder and terror against Palestinian population centers throughout the West Bank and Gaza, Strip, killing and maiming more civilians and bulldozing public and private buildings.
In Rafah at the southern edge of the Gaza Strip, 24-year-old Izzedin Abu Isa, was laid to rest, the second Palestinian to die in 24 hours.
Abu Isa died in what was described as a mysterious explosion near his home Friday night. Three other people were injured in the blast which is believed to have been perpetrated by Jewish terrorists or by agents of the Israeli apartheid regime.
In Shujaiyya, on Gaza eastern outskirts, the Israeli occupation army Saturday morning bulldozed an electricity cable factory, inflicting heavy financial losses to the owners.
The demolition of the factory and the destruction of the machines inside it are an additional testimony that the Zionist regime is intent on ravaging the already weak Palestinian economy.
The occupation army on Friday partially bombarded the factory with artillery shells.
However, due to the fact that the factory was not destroyed completely in the shelling, the Zionists sent in bulldozers Saturday morning to `finish the job', in the words of the Israeli army spokesman.
Meanwhile, Israeli bombardment of civilian neighborhoods was reported in the towns of Burka near Nablus, Yabud near Jenin and Khader south of Bethlehem.
In Anata, east of al-Qods, the Zionists reportedly fired rubber-coated bullets on school children who wanted to go to their schools.
The Zionists earlier declared all schools in the area closed until further notice.
Several school children were reportedly injured by Zionist bullets.
